Rob Holding has been the subject of a £2.1million transfer offer from Besiktas, according to recent reports
Arsenal have received a €2.5million (£2.1million) offer from Besiktas for defender Rob Holding, according to The Athletic.
The Gunners are expected to reject the bid from the Turkish side, with the figure far below what the club would consider to sell. Holding’s current contract at the Emirates Stadium runs until 2024, with the option of a further year.
“He [Kiwior] looked ready, he looked fresh”, Arteta said after the Polish international’s impressive display following his first Premier League start, a 3-1 win over Chelsea, last term. “He looked really determined, he’s been getting better and better every single day.
“Not only training but his interaction, his language, he is more settled and is a player that I really like which is why we signed him. He’s got the potential at his age to be great and I think he had a big task against the players he had to face today and I think he did really well.”
It remains to be seen whether or not he will retain his place in the team once the injured Oleksandr Zinchenko returns to fitness.
