BBNaija Level up – A Task break with a touch of drama in heated clash between Deji and Groovy
Deji and Groovy got into a brief brawl that left the House in commotion.
The Housemates received a Task brief yesterday that got them in a bunch. The Task had four games, and after struggling to figure out the rules of the first game, emotions quickly escalated with everyone talking at the same time.
The second game was where things became tense. A squabble ensued after the moderator read out a question as the opposing teams scrambled to press the buzzer and answer it. Team 141 went against Super Binge, and Groovy and Eloswag played, with Phyna moderating.
When the game ended, Biggie asked the Housemates to return to the House. This was after Deji accused Phyna of cheating as she allowed team 141 to ask for the questions again, instead of passing them on to the other team. This did not sit well with Groovy, who felt they won “fair and square.”
Their move back to the House led to a heated confrontation between Deji and Groovy that required the intervention of their fellow Housemates. Dotun did his best to keep Deji from attacking Groovy, but he quickly moved from him, heading to Groovy while running. The Level Up ladies intervened in the quarrel, but the two guys were quite angry.
The suggested unfairness of the game was a shared sentiment amongst most of the Housemates, and this led to more arguing amongst Housemates. Most notable were Adekunle and Chichi. The two had a fallout when Adekunle explained the rules of the game and how Biggie set them. Adekunle eventually walked away from the argument, adding that he would not argue with Chichi.
Deji and Groovy moved to the side by themselves and quickly ironed things out. They met up again a few minutes later in the Bedroom and embraced each other.
The accusation did not sit well with Phyna either, who chose to sit in the Garden as the quarrelling happened in the House. Groovy went to fetch her and encouraged her to keep her head in the game and not focus on the emotional stuff.
Was this sound advice from Groovy?
