The Level 2 Head of House curse is lifted as Phyna is crowned the Head of House.
Sheggz’s two-week reign as Tail of House ended tonight, and he was finally eligible to participate in the Game. Hermes was exempted from the Game as the current HoH, with his tenure ending tonight.
The HoH Games started with speculation as Housemates wondered what tonight’s Game will be about. Their assumptions were correct, as Housemates would be required to knock off as many bottles as possible in two minutes. The ladies went up first and eagerly threw their tennis balls in pursuit of knocking down 10 bottles. Phyna hit the most balls amongst the ladies, only having two bottles left from her 10. For the guys, Adekunle had two bottles standing when the buzzer hit.
Chichi and Chizzy broke the rules and did not keep their feet behind the faux grass, and were disqualified from the Game.
Adekunle, Phyna, Daniella and Sheggz were the top four Housemates and went into the second round of the Game; the straight arm challenge. They were required to pour water into their mouths and spill it inside a measuring cup. Covered in plastic to protect them from getting wet, the Housemates went through all their cups, but Phyna had the most water in her final cup.
For the first time this season, a former Level 2 Housemate was crowned HoH. Only Level 1 Housemates have taken the HoH title, leading to the subsequent Eviction of nine Level 2 Housemates. Four former Level 2 Housemates remain; Bryann, Phyna, Groovy and Daniella, and the two ladies were the top contenders for the HoH title.
As this week’s HoH, Phyna has immunity from Nominations, which gives her a week off from possible Eviction. Phyna has been the most Nominated Housemate this season, and her head has been on the Eviction block since Voting opened.
Her other benefit is occupying the HoH Bedroom. When Biggie asked her to choose a companion, she chose Groovy after Adekunle jokingly begged to be selected. “Affirmative” was Groovy’s response to Biggie when he wanted to confirm if he was happy to stay in the Bedroom with her.
It will be an enthralling week in Biggie’s House with Phyna as HoH.
