Adekunle made the tough decision to Nominate five Level 2 Housemates without the assistance of his fellow Housemates.
Adekunle was the winner of the HoH Games, winning the title for Level 1. As HoH, he is given 30 minutes from winning to select five Housemates that will be up for Eviction at the Sunday Live Show. The first two Evicted Housemates were Christy O and Cyph, and the news of their departure shocked Doyin who was seen crying yesterday after she left the Arena.
The switch to different Houses created chaos, making it impossible for the Level 1 Housemates to chat to Adekunle regarding who they think should be Nominated. His fellow Housemates can advise, but they cannot dictate who should be Nominated.
When they eventually settled into their new House and got to the discussions on Nominations, Biggie summoned Adekunle to the Diary Room.
Once he was in the Diary Room, Adekunle told Big Brother that being Head of House feels like a personal achievement. When asked to get into Nominations, the brand new HoH sang like a canary, and this is how he Nominated:
Khalid
This is the third week Khalid remains the top contender for HoH, and in the second week, he is Nominated for possible Eviction. Adekunle Nominated him because he feels like he is a “pretty strong game player,” making him a threat to the other Housemates in Level 1. This is the same reason Hermes Nominated him last week.
Ilebaye
Adekunle has not had opportunities to get to know Ilebaye, so does not have a solid reason to Nominate her. However, her fellow Housemates have spoken about her in a negative light, and by virtue of this, she should also be Nominated.
Phyna
Again, Phyna is selected as a Housemate that could be Nominated for Eviction. Hermes selected her because she poses a threat to the other Housemates, and Adekunle’s reason is similar. “Phyna is a solid foundation of the team,” Adekunle said. He thinks that if you shake the foundation, then the rest of the team might crumble.
Bryann
For the first time, Bryann appears on the Nomination list. Adekunle regards him as a strategic game player, which poses a threat to the other Housemates. The strategy makes him strong, and he would like to get rid of the strong Housemate.
Groovy
According to Adekunle, if Phyna would be Evicted, another possible foundation would be Groovy. He could potentially step up to the task and Adekunle cannot afford to have another threat in the Level 2 House.
After Biggie announced all the Nominated Housemates, Pharmsavi settled lower onto the couch in relief and Amaka moved closer to Phyna to offer comfort for her Nomination.
