The 21-year-old player had arrived the country of his descent on the 30th of May, 2023. He took to his Instagram page to share a video of himself in Somolu, Lagos where he had visited for a function.
The Arsenal footballer could be seen rocking a white native attire as he was escorted by his retinue of bodyguards who trailed behind. Some Nigerians had gathered to get a glimpse of him and he waved them greetings.
Taking to his Instagram page, he expressed thanks to Nigerians for giving him a warm welcome to his motherland.
“E kuule o ! Thank you for the warm welcome,” he wrote.
